Shrimpfish Siquijor 16x20

Shrimpfish Siquijor 16x20

$330 at 16x20. Shrimpfish live vertically, ducking into urchins & other feeding areas that would be harder to access from the horizontal. They school up & move quickly, posing briefly. Beautiful & integral, they are taken by the aquarium trade, even as hobbyist chat rooms advise that with “expert level care” may get them to 6 months, but all will die in a year. They need “live rock,” porous substrate that is now illegal to remove from all but the poorest countries. Without live rock, reefs die. The aquarium trade takes it with crowbars and hammers. The Idaho wildlife traffickers sentenced to prison last week also dealt in live rock. The alternative is to ban the aquarium trade.
