Yellow Ribbon Eel Dumaguete 15x11 or 30x22

Yellow Ribbon Eel Dumaguete 15x11 or 30x22

$175 at 15x11 or $670 at 30x22. A money shot, this one. All blue ribbon eels are male, and when the female (yellow) ribbon eel departs, the dominant male morphs blue to yellow, male to female. Yellow ribbon eels are rare.

They too hang out in the day, showing their heads and gills, keeping the hind 3-4' tucked into the burrow. At about 3/4" thick, they look like ribbons aswirl moving about the reef.
